Frequently Asked Questions
Prayer times are incorrect for my location
Make sure location access is enabled for Free Athan in your device Settings. You can also manually set your city or adjust the calculation method under the app's Settings screen to match your local mosque or Islamic authority.
I am not receiving Athan notifications
Check that notifications are enabled for Free Athan in your device Settings under Notifications. Also ensure that Do Not Disturb or Focus modes are not silencing the app. If the issue persists, try toggling notifications off and back on inside the app.
The app crashes or freezes
Try closing and reopening the app. If the problem persists, restart your device and ensure Free Athan is updated to the latest version from the App Store. If you still experience crashes, please contact us with the details above.
